Refund/Transfer Questions
Are refunds allowed?
All entries are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, feel free to come or send a friend to packet pick-up and receive this year’s giveaway.
Can I change races?
Event transfer is available through August 15, 2025. See the help topic for details.
Can I transfer my bib?
No, bib transfers are not available.
Race/Course Logistics
What is the course?
Due to some anticipated construction scheduled on the course at the time of the race, we have created a new course for 2025. View the course map on our General Info page to see the updated route.
Can I run in this race?
No, this race is a Walk Only event.
What’s the time limit for the race?
All 10k finishers must maintain a 20 minute-per mile pace. All 5k finishers must maintain a 30 minute-per mile pace.

Are wheelchairs and strollers permitted?
Yes, you may push either a wheelchair or stroller. Everyone who is in the race must register, including those in a stroller or wheelchair. You will be required to start at the back of the race in the last corral.

Will the miles be marked on the course?
Yes, there will be flags at every mile.
Will there be aid stations on the course?
There will be multiple aid stations on the 10k course and one aid station on the 5k course, which will have water and sports drinks. If you need additional water we recommend bringing your own items.
Will there be portable restrooms on the course?
Yes, portable restrooms will be available on the 10k course and there are no portable restrooms on the 5k course.
Are headphones of any kind allowed in the events?
Headphones are permitted, we do ask that you please listen at a volume to allow you to hear instructions from volunteers and public safety officials.
Are roller skates, inline skates, bikes, or pets allowed to participate in the events?
Due to the size and nature of this event, none of these are allowed. If you are seen on the course with any of these, you will be directed off the course for your safety and the safety of others.
How is the race timed?
The race is electronically timed using race|result bib tag chip systems. DO NOT remove/bend/fold/mutilate the timing tag from the back of your bib number. Camera and manual backup systems are also utilized, please ensure that your number is easily visible from the front.
General Questions
Youth Registration Options
5k – For children 10 and under the registration fee is $10.00 no matter when they register which includes a bib, medal, and no garment.
10k – Children 6 and older can register for the 10k distance. The registration fee is as listed at the time of registration, the child must be able to walk the entire distance. They will receive a bib, medal, and garment.
What is the official race swag?
Our race jacket is a full-zip unisex sizing, 78% polyester and 22% Spandex.
If you need to change your jacket size, you can follow the help topic here and it must be done by August 15, 2025.
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes, a valid driver’s license (copies are accepted) must be presented to pick up your packet or for someone else for each person over the age of 18.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking around the race start. See General Info to see parking map.
What will I receive when I cross the finish line?
Everyone who completes the Race by crossing the finish line will receive a finisher medal. Virtual race registrants will all receive a medal and jacket with their mailed race kit.
What if I am late to the start line?
Unfortunately, we cannot delay the race start for late participants. All races will start on time and no late starts will be allowed.
Can a non-participant cross the finish line with me?
No. For your safety and the safety of fellow participants around you, only participants with a bib that has registered for the race are permitted to cross the finish line. They are welcome to meet you just outside the finish line area in Market Square to help you celebrate.
What is the cancellation policy?
In accordance with management staff, city officials and local law enforcement have the authority to cancel the event for emergency
purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather or a threat of terrorism.
Will an official race photographer be at the event?
Yes! Race photos will be available after the race on our website.
Will there be a post-race celebration?
We will have a post-race celebration in Market Square for all participants.
Does this event have awards?
There are awards for the top 3 finishers as well as age group awards for the 5k and 10k. See details on our General Info page.
