We’re back! The 17th Annual New Albany Walking Classic will be held on Sunday, September 19th. In-person registration will be limited to the first 1500 people. Anyone is welcome to register as a Virtual Walker as well. Click for details.

Relax with a Sound Bath

Dr. Sandra Solano, M.D. will invite the sounds of the Himalayan Singing Bowls to immerse you in a unique experience of vibration and sound.  Enjoy the sounds of a full therapeutic set bringing you to a quick state of deep relaxation. Click for details and links to regiser.

2021 Lunch & Learn Series

Our Lunch & Learns are focused on public health. Next up in the series on Wednesday, April 14th from 12-1:30 pm: Perspectives on Human Trafficking with survivor Stephanie Rollins and Chief of Police Greg Jones. Click here to register for this virtual event.

What We Do at Healthy New Albany


Our wide variety of classes and community programs are all about enjoying life while improving health! From yoga classes to cooking classes, from “lunch & learns” to medical lectures and social activities, we offer a range of programs for preschoolers to seniors.

With over 250 classes offered each year, we make it easy to support your health journey.



Does a healthy Halloween event sound scary to you? It doesn’t to the 600+ people who come to our annual Trick, It’s a Treat event. Add that to our Souper Supper, Kids Holiday Gift Shop, health fairs, Kids Walk and wellness retreats…our events keep people excited about health year round.

Due to COVID-19 , we will not be holding these larger events for the remainder of 2020. Check back to see what we will be able to offer soon!

Food Pantry

NAFP serves families and individuals living in the New Albany- Plain Local School (NAPLS) District. Emergency help is available to anyone in immediate need of food. If you do not live the NAPLS District, please contact us and we will connect you with a food pantry in your area. We provide groceries to families in the NAPLS District through our food pantry. Make an appointment to shop the pantry on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to select any items you need. To schedule a pantry visit, please contact us or call 614-413-7907.

Farmers Market

The Healthy New Albany Farmers Market has become a community staple! A variety of local vendors are in attendance at every market. This summer’s market takes place every Thursday from 4-7 pm in the New Albany Church of the Resurrection parking lot. The 4:00-4:30 time frame is reserved for those age 60+ and vulnerable population only.


Community Garden

The Healthy New Albany Community Garden has 37 plots ranging in size from 4’x4′ child-friendly plots to larger 4’x16′ plots. The garden serves Healthy New Albany’s mission by growing a stronger, healthier community – together!

The garden is located between Village Hall and the New Albany Police Department. Parking is available in the Village Hall parking lot.



Whether you are participating as a competitor or just for fun, Healthy New Albany Races are an integral part of our structure and function. Not only do they promote physical activity, but 100% of proceeds each race helps Healthy New Albany’s other initiatives survive and thrive.
