It’s Greek to Me
Mediterranean cuisine can be one of the healthiest around with its emphasis on whole grains, fruits and veggies, and beans. In this class we’ll focus on traditional Greek foods – working together to make tzatziki and hummus, whole wheat pita Mediterranean meatballs, and more.

Holiday Appetizers & Charcuterie Board
Appetizers are welcome at any party! Join us as we make a bunch of appetizers – some of which are great to make ahead and stash in your freezer. We’ll finish out with assembling a beautiful charcuterie board that is easy to duplicate at home.

Fall Faves: Apples & Pumpkins
Fall is the perfect season for cooking and baking with apples and pumpkins. Savory and sweet is on the menu during this class, including pumpkin apple soup, apple Streusel bread, and pumpkin pasta sauce. We’ll top things off by making a classic pumpkin cake roll!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Let’s push the boundaries of our standard chicken dinner. In this class we’ll make Peruvian chicken skewers, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken adobo, chicken tikka masala, and we’ll spatchcock a chicken and roast it over bread croutons in the signature way of Zuni Cafe in San Francisco.

Polynesian Cuisine: Poke Bowls & More
Learn the art of crafting your own poke bowl! Alongside that, explore Chicken Katsu, Hawaiian mac salad, cucumber salad, seaweed salad, and butter mochi. We may be nearing winter in Ohio, but with this class’s menu, your taste buds will transport you to the warmth of the Pacific islands!

Yoga Foundations
Join Lori Bower*, as she guides you through yoga fundamentals and breathing exercises to promote relaxation and improve flexibility and stability. You’ll leave feeling at ease and a sense of calm that will carry you throughout your day. Modifications will be made so everyone can do what’s best for their body and get the most out of their practice.

Restorative Meditation
Calling all 55+ wellness gurus – we want you to join us for a journey of relaxation and restoration! Instructor Lori Bower* will lead participants in a blend of gentle movements, restorative yoga poses, breath practices, and Reiki while sharing some favorite meditations. You will leave feeling relaxed, revitalized, and inspired.

Chair Yoga
Come move through a variety of gentle yoga poses using a chair! Seated and standing poses will use the support of a chair to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. This class also includes breathing practices to encourage relaxation and mindfulness. Chair Yoga is a gentle class and suitable for adults of any age or fitness level.

UZIT (Urban Zen Integrative Therapy)
Join our experienced instructor, Lori Bower* for an hour of relaxing and restoring for anyone feeling anxious, stressed, or exhausted. UZIT (Urban Zen Integrative Therapy) is a blend of gentle movements, restorative yoga poses, breath practices, aromatherapy, and guided meditation leaving you feeling calm, relaxed, and revitalized. "Om" for the Holidays
In the busyness of the holiday season, join Lori Bower* and harpist Trista Hill to slow down and rejuvenate! Journey through restorative yoga postures, breath work, meditation, and a custom holiday essential oil blend, while enjoying the beautiful sounds of harp music. Together this will invite space and clearing to balance the mind, body, and spirit for the holiday season!.

Toddlers in Nature
HNA Toddlers in Nature program is a hands-on, sensory-based class for toddlers (ages 18-36 months) and their adult(s). It is play and exploration-focused, using activity stations to encourage joy, creativity, and motor and language development. It offers a gentle introduction to social gatherings for the very young while offering adults seasonal nature and child development information.

Squirrels Leap | Sept 1
WOW (World of Wonder)
WOW nature classes are designed for 3-5-year-old children and their adult(s) to explore and connect with nature through movement, sensory play, and seasonal activities. Each class includes a story time and nature topic, hands-on exploration stations, and a gentle nature walk. Each class offers an opportunity for children and adults to discover a sense of wonder about this amazing world we live in.

Rewild Child
Rewild Child is a program offering forest exploration and play for Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Children get the chance to explore nature, take risks, solve problems, and fall in love with the natural world, so they can become stewards of the earth.

YUCK!
Yuck! Is designed for 1st-3rd graders, to engage and excite young minds relating to the misunderstood and unappreciated, but often cool things in nature. Learning in nature promotes physical, mental and emotional well-being for children. Nature information is presented in creative and hilarious ways to make kids want to learn more about their world. We are often loud and messy, but also creative and full of fun!

Adventure Eagles
This program is for grades 4 – 6, citizen scientists, explorers and lovers of nature. As a pilot program, Adventure Eagles will offer kids opportunities to not only learn more about the natural world, but actually create ways to better serve our planet. Ecology projects, survival skills and learning about local groups that make a real difference in caring for our world are a few parts of this meaningful program. Topics will include things like fungus foraging, nocturnal knowledge, animal bones, and more! Are you ready for the next nature adventure?

Forest Bathing for Anxiety
Join us to learn what Forest Bathing and Forest Therapy can offer with a focus on adults who experience anxiety. This will be a gentle and supportive walk designed to offer simple, but effective ways to reconnect with ourselves through connecting with nature. Molly Scott*, certified through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides, will be guiding this walk and offering sensory and seasonal invitations for embodiment and relaxation. The job of a guide is to open the doors to nature, the forest will offer support and therapy.
The walk will be on a flat, paved surface with light refreshments provided at the end of the walk. This walk will be no longer than 1 mile total. The guide is trained and will have a Wild Med safety kit if needed. Please let your guide know if you have any allergies or concerns being outdoors.

Haunted Hike: The Blood Moon
Even if there’s not technically a blood moon in 2023, we simply couldn’t resist theming our annual haunted hike around the science and folklore of all things blood (including the moon). This nature hike will cover Blood Moons and Bloody Marys (both the ghosts and the drinks!), along with bloodletting and blood taboos throughout history and current culture.
It’s not all gruesome and gore though – you’ll enjoy fascinating stories, food, and laughter under the full moon. It will be the best bloody haunted hike around!

Sports provide so many benefits for children and teens, and yet studies have also shown that athletes experience more psychological distress than their counterparts. Join us to learn more about the unique mental health challenges faced by young athletes, such as performance anxiety and stress, and also learn strategies to support the holistic well-being of adolescent athletes.
This community health talk is aimed at empowering parents, coaches, educators, and community members with the knowledge and tools to create a supportive environment for our student athletes to thrive both on and off the field!
