Teaching young chefs confidence in the kitchen!

Hands on opportunities for kids to explore and discover nature’s wonders.

Participants will learn the art of fire making with a 1 match challenge and will be introduced to flint and steel fire making techniques, while understanding what is needed from the winter woods to create a fire. Whether preparing for a camping trip, a wilderness adventure, or simply wishing to learn a valuable survival skill, this program promises a memorable and enriching experience. This class will take place outdoors.

Jan 27: Technology to Promote Healthy Lifestyle Choices
These fun family classes include songs, rhythmic chants, movement, instrument play, and of course lots of fun – developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers.

Ages: Infant – 5-years-old
Through gentle, playful movement, this class introduces the basic principles of Tai Chi to toddlers (ages 18 months – 4 years) and their caregivers. Balance, coordination, mindfulness, and breath control, are fundamentals of Tai Chi that will presented to the class in a fun and interactive way. Parents and children will move together in a supportive, non-competitive environment, fostering bonding while helping young children develop motor skills and emotional regulation.

Girls will learn techniques for building strength, conditioning, and increasing mobility.
