Adult Classes

In this class we will be exploring ways of making campfires that do not involve matches or lighters. Our main focus will be on flint and steel fire making. This involves using flint to scrape off sparks of steel, catching a spark on a char cloth and blowing it into flame with a tinder bundle. We will also explore other ways of making campfires such as how to use ferro rods, fresnel lenses, batteries and steel wool.
