Food Pantry

Working to ensure every neighbor has access to healthy food and essential resources.

Since 2013, the New Albany Food Pantry has been feeding our community by connecting neighbors to healthy food, resources, and each other, serving individuals and families living in the New Albany-Plain Local School District.

Our pantry offers a wide range of grocery items including fresh produce, dairy, meats, bread, and shelf-stable foods. We also provide personal care items that low-income families may go without not by choice, but because of cost barriers.

The Pantry does more than feed people; it acts as a vital community hub for connection and support. We partner with schools, faith organizations, and community groups to address food insecurity, encourage volunteerism, and promote wellness for all. Programs like our Summer Meals program and Break Boxes help ensure that children and families have access to healthy options during school breaks. We also provide resources for neighbors enrolled in English Language Learning (ELL) programs and make referrals to other agencies and organizations to connect families with additional support.

We all experience difficult times and sometimes need a helping hand. The New Albany Food Pantry helps ensure every neighbor has the support they need to get through today and thrive tomorrow.
