Healthy New Albany is a great place to volunteer and get involved with others who are focused on creating a community culture of health and wellness.

Volunteering can benefit your mental and physical health and contribute to a longer life. Studies show that the act of volunteering combats stress, can boost your mood, increase happiness, and can add a sense of purpose to your life. Volunteering may also help create strong social connections and help lay the foundation of service for children when done as a family.

We have several great opportunities to volunteer with our Food Pantry, The New Albany Walking Classic®, Farmers Market, and Community Garden.
