Rachel Haugk
We are thrilled to announce and welcome Rachel Haugk as the new Executive Director of Healthy New Albany. Rachel joins the team starting January 27, 2025.
Rachel brings a wealth of experience in relationship-building, strategic planning, and development — all key to advancing our mission of cultivating and inspiring healthy living in our community.
“I am excited to step into this role and join an organization so deeply committed to fostering health, connection, and belonging. I look forward to working with the Board, team, and community to build on Healthy New Albany’s incredible foundation and bring our shared vision for a healthier future to life,” shares Rachel.
Rachel joins us from The Ohio State University College of Public Health, where she increased donor engagement and retention as the Donor Experience Officer. Additionally, her impressive experience spans nonprofit leadership and entrepreneurship. As the Executive Director at the Olentangy Education Foundation, she led the organization through strategic planning, rebranding, and growth of endowment accounts and sponsorship revenue. She also founded and managed the company BB Blocks, LLC and spent time at Cardinal Health in finance and compensation. Rachel holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University.
Under Rachel’s leadership, Healthy New Albany looks forward to expanding access to community programs for all ages; growing our Food Pantry, which is now serving 30% more people than last year; and, welcoming more gardeners to the new Community Garden at Taylor Farm Park.
“Rachel’s strategic mindset and passion for building relationships make her the perfect leader to guide Healthy New Albany into this exciting new chapter. We are confident that her leadership will deepen our impact and inspire even greater connection within our community,” shares Patty McClimon, Board Chair.
Please join us in giving Rachel a warm welcome to Healthy New Albany! Rachel is eager to get started and invites you to connect with her.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission and your belief in the power of community.
