Fuel and Fit combines fun, hands-on culinary lessons with engaging physical activities to promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle. In each session, participants learn how to prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks while gaining foundational knowledge about food, wellness, and body confidence. The fitness component includes a variety of movement styles—from walking and yoga to strength and cardio games—aimed at building strength, coordination, and self-esteem. Fuel and Fit inspires young girls to take charge of their health, develop lifelong healthy habits, and celebrate what their bodies can do.

Snack Attack: Quick & Healthy Bites

Class Focus: Nutritious Snacks + Strength Building Games for Grades 4-6

• Culinary Component: In this class, participants create healthy, fun snack like homemade granola bars, veggie wraps, and fruit salads. They learn about portion sizes and how to make balanced snack choices that keep them fueled throughout the day.

• Fitness Component: After enjoying their snacks, girls participate in a series of strength-building games, such as “Animal Moves” (bear crawls, crab walks, etc.) and circuit-style bodyweight exercises (squats, lunges, push-ups).

This helps develop muscle strength, coordination, and body confidence.

About the Instructor:
Katie Dippolito is a certified Health & Nutrition coach and an instructor at Soma Lab Fitness. Katie has been an athlete all of her life with a passion for health and fitness. Her company, Healthier Ways With Katie was launched in 2023 and she provides a variety of coaching services as well as a weekly meal prep business focusing on plant forward meals that are both gluten free & dairy free.

Katie works with her clients to provide coaching, wellness and community support by filling the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. Her goal is to bring clarity, direction and encouragement to their individual health journey.
