Program Description:
Come move through a variety of gentle yoga poses using a chair! Seated and standing poses will use the support of a chair to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. This class also includes breathing practices to encourage relaxation and mindfulness. Chair Yoga is a gentle class and suitable for adults of any age or fitness level.
Attendees may choose to attend in-person or virtually each class (to accommodate for potential winter weather and other scheduling concerns).
Schedule:
• Mondays | 10:00 – 11:00 am
• August 11 – September 29 (6-week series)
**No class Sept. 1 and Sept. 8
Fee:
• $84 for 6-week series

• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St. New Albany, OH)
• Conference Room on the first floor
Virtual Option:
• All registrants will be sent a Zoom link via email prior to the first class. There is no separate registration needed. Registrants may participate either in-person or via Zoom based on their preference/availability.
*About the Instructor:
Marie Stanford has been practicing yoga for 15+ years and has taught yoga since 2016. She is a 200 RYT certified in a variety of yoga modalities, including chair yoga, power yoga, flow yoga, gentle yoga, plus breathing and meditation.
