Join the Adventure Eagles, a hands-on nature class where young explorers become real-world citizen scientists! In this engaging program, students in grades 4–6 will dive into authentic environmental science by participating in real data collection and nature-based investigations. Each session, we’ll explore a new part of the nature preserve—observing wildlife, testing water quality, identifying plants, tracking seasonal changes, and more.
Students will contribute to national and global citizen science projects such as iNaturalist, Journey North, and Project FeederWatch, helping scientists understand trends in biodiversity, climate, and ecosystems. Along the way, we’ll sharpen our observation skills, learn how to use scientific tools, and discover the incredible ways nature is connected to our everyday lives.
Perfect for curious minds who love the outdoors, science, and making a difference in the world.
