Be Strong (grades 4-7) is designed to teach boys in grades 4-7 how to move, build muscle and muscular endurance using just their body weight. Focus will be on form first, teaching proper technique for movements like squats, pushups, lunges, and the various ways they can be done to build strong muscles. What follows will incorporate those movements into a more dynamic workout to improve agility, endurance, and power output while emphasizing the basics proper form.

Alex Seaholm is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Fitness Instructor at OrangeTheory Fitness in New Albany, Gahanna, and Grove City. With a lifetime interest in fitness and the fun it can bring to everyday life, he is passionate about helping others become fitter, healthier versions of themselves and watching them discover how strong they truly are. Alex believes the best way to begin a fitness practice is by building a strong foundation of core movements before adding intensity and complexity and is devoted to creating a space where anyone of any fitness level can come and learn.
