This series is designed to encourage cultural exploration, healthy cooking habits, and hands-on skill development in a welcoming community environment. Each class fosters confidence in plant-based cooking while celebrating global cuisines.

Class 1: “Island Vibes” – Mastering Jackfruit
A bold and vibrant class where participants create Caribbean-inspired jerked jackfruit tacos. Highlighting the smoky, spicy flavors of jerk seasoning paired with fresh toppings and plant-based components.
– Understand Caribbean spice profiles and flavor layering
– Practice stovetop sauté techniques for plant-based proteins

Class 2: “Creamy Dreamy Pasta” – A Caribbean Comfort Experience
This lively, hands-on class celebrates bold Jamaican-inspired flavors through a creamy plant-based pasta. Participants will prepare a rick Rasta Pasta dish that captures the essence of Caribbean comfort food — colorful, spicy, creamy, and joyful.
– Understand how to create creamy, dairy-free sauces using coconut milk and plant-based alternatives
– Practice sauté techniques for mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers to achieve optimal texture
– Explore flavor layering using herbs, spice blends, citrus, and natural sweeteners

Fee:
• $150 for 2 classes
• $85/ class for individual registration
