Program Description:
Move beyond the mechanics and start to embody the art of Tai Chi. This series is designed for dedicated beginners who have grasped the fundamental movements and sequence of the core form and are ready to delve deeper. We will transition from simply learning the steps to refining the internal principles. This series reviews the basic form to ensure a solid foundation while introducing the complexity and subtlety of intermediate practice. Elevate your practice from an exercise to a moving meditation and martial art.

About the Instructors:
Christopher Jansen has been teaching Tai Chi, dance, and other movement modalities for 26 years. Having started teaching High Impact Aerobics and Step at sixteen years old, Christopher has branched out to not only offer Tai Chi, but also Yoga, various dance styles, and water fitness classes. After delving into the world of Ballroom Dance, Christopher opened a dance studio in downtown Milwaukee, WI, and although dance has been Christopher’s lifelong passion, he realizes the importance of the more gentle and subtle movement modalities, such as Yoga and Tai Chi. Christopher is also a certified personal trainer, transformation specialist, and cancer exercise specialist.
