Wellness Through Recreation

Wellness Through Recreation is a 6-week program that takes place two times/week after school. Activities include: social games; fun physical activities; group and team challenges; safe, supported discussions; community outings; scavenger hunts; and swimming. Each week will present a new themed topic with a coordinating activity and discussion that will guide teens in learning and implementing skills to keep them healthy and well.

Grades 7-8 Instructor

Paige Duly graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. After finishing her internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2013, she became a part of the Therapeutic Recreation team and has had the privilege of working in such a diverse setting. Paige is an enthusiastic and engaging facilitator, who enjoys motivating others in leisure and recreational involvement. She is originally from Rossford, Ohio, but now lives in Columbus. An avid sports fanatic, Paige enjoys watching and playing soccer, basketball and baseball. She also enjoys spending her leisure time with family and friends, going new places, or doing DIY projects.
