Help America’s Healing Heroes.

Healthy New Albany and Mission Essential are proud to sponsor the Second Annual Honor Ride Ohio to help America’s Healing Heroes on Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 2016, to raise money and promote awareness for Ride 2 Recovery – a non-profit organization which improves the physical and mental well-being of injured veterans with cycling as a means of rehabilitation.

The ride will start and end at the Heit Center in New Albany, touring the scenic countryside of Central Ohio in routes of 12, 35 or 65 miles.

To date, over one million veterans have suffered serious injuries during the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts.  The need for programs to help these veterans is staggering.  Ride 2 Recovery is one of those important programs – a non-profit organization which improves the physical and mental well-being of injured veterans with cycling as a means of rehabilitation.
