Have you ever spotted an animal footprint on the trail and wondered who made it? Or, found yourself curious about the wild creatures living in your local woods? Join naturalist and teacher Grace Gordon for an engaging exploration of the tracks and signs that Ohio’s wildlife leave behind. Together, we will uncover the hidden stories of animal behavior and learn to see the forest through the eyes of its wild inhabitants.

*This class is for all ages. We ask that children age 13 yrs and under attend with an adult.

About the Instructor:
Grace Gordon has been teaching in both outdoor and traditional classroom settings for over 16 years. She began her career as a Park Ranger in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where her passion for connecting children with nature first took root. Since then, she has taught at nature centers and schools across the country, inspiring curiosity and a love of the outdoors in learners of all ages. Grace is currently a lead teacher at Columbus Academy, where she works with 3 and 4 year olds in a nature preschool inspired classroom. In 2023, she was honored as the Outstanding Environmental Educator of the Year (Formal Setting) by the Environmental Education Council of Ohio.
