A Healthier You!

We can’t add more time to our days, so how do we best manage our energy to be more engaged and productive with our friends, family and colleagues? This session will teach participants ways to better manage their energy through simple techniques, such as exercise, nutrition and recovery time. It’s a different way of thinking about getting through our busy days!

Megan Amaya, PhD, is the Director of Health Promotion and Wellness and a Clinical Faculty member at The Ohio State University. Previous to her current role at Ohio State, she worked as the wellness coordinator for the City of Dublin. Megan has been an adjunct instructor at several Columbus area universities, teaching students tools and skills for healthy behavior change.

Megan is President-Elect for the National Consortium for Building Healthy Academic Communities, Past President for the Society of Public Health Educators Ohio Chapter and a steering team member for the central region Healthy Ohio Business Council. She is a certified health education specialist, certified personal trainer and certified group fitness instructor.
